11. Does the UPI program affect financial aid?
Yes, to some extent, depending on the type of financial assistance the student is receiving. Merit-based scholarships, including the HOPE Scholarships for Georgia residents, are NOT affected. All earned income must be reported to the Office of Student Financial Planning and Servises, as well as to the U.S. Internal Revenue Service.
