"Through my co-op job at Delta, I got to see the operations side of management. We do studies, identify a problem, come up with a solution, and implement the new process, then study it afterwards to see if it saved time and money." Swanburg explained. "Although it's not [exactly what I want to do] for my career, it was good for me to know that when I ask someone to do something in a management role, I'm not a disconnected manager. I know what goes on behind the scenes to make it happen."
